Pole Star DSAS

Pole Star offers a dedicated Inmarsat D+ transceiver units which has been developed specifically to integrate with the SSAS Alert service. Both options benefit from easy installation and remote diagnostics.

DSAS

For the CSO who demands optimum performance for security alert management, we advise that the Alert Advanced Ship Security Alert System should be integrated with Pole Star's DSAS hardware. Designed to withstand the harshest operating environments, whether in terms of extreme climatic conditions or exposure to prolonged and violent vibration, the DSAS transceiver has proved to be exceptionally reliable.

Features include:

  • Self-contained unit consisting of a compact, integrated Inmarsat/GPS transceiver, power management unit and back-up batteries - all in one box - and two external alert activation points
  • Minimal cabling reduces risk of failure or accidental damage
  • Back-up batteries ensure unit will function for several days in event of power down
  • Tough polycarbonate enclosure protected by a stainless steel casing
  • No external antenna.
