IEC 60945 Type Approval

IEC 60945 (Fourth Edition, 2002-08) is an International Standard for maritime navigation and radio communication equipment and systems. It specifies the general requirements, methods of testing and required test results.

The DSAS ship security alert system is IEC 60945 type approved and, with respect to EMC testing, compliant to the revised 2 GHz frequency range (from 1GHz).
