SUMMARY

This position can be remote working or office based but requires the person to have strong technical skills in various computer operating systems, scripting languages, cloud security and cloud provider ecosystems such as Amazon AWS. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential in addition to strong problem-solving skills. This position also requires the person to be quickly adaptable to the changing threat landscape of cyber security and can respond to after-hour emergencies when the need arises.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job responsibilities can include creating security controls for cloud-based programs, performing threat simulations to detect possible risks, and providing security recommendations on cloud-based security topics. This position may instruct other teams on proper coding methods and investigate, create, and recommend innovative technologies or other methods that will enhance the security of cloud-based environments.

Ability for up to 10% travel, particularly to the United Kingdom (post COVID)

WORK SCHEDULE NOTE

While this position is scheduled for a traditional Monday – Friday work week, our systems run 24/7/365 and as such, you may be expected to perform out of hours, on-call support on an as needed basis. This may include weekends and/or holidays and is worked on a rotation system with other team members. Additional compensation may be available for working on-call, standby or holiday hours.

This position requires completion of an FBI Summary History Report (i.e. background check) and may require a security clearance in the future. Employment is based on satisfactorily being able to complete both the FBI Summary History Report and the future security clearance. 

This position requires use of or access to information subject to the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”) or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (“ITAR”). Accordingly, all applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of these regulations.
