Additional Entity Screening with Containers

What’s new

  • Customers can now select additional entities to screen as part of their Bill of Lading and Container screening process.

Why it matters

  • Additional entity screening allows our customers to extend their company watchlist checks performed during a Container screening.
  • Users can now screen the additional counterparties involved in the transaction, e.g. the shipper and consignee.
  • Customers due diligence activities will be recorded on the vessel’s PDF Screening Report.

Podium (Shipping & Offshore)

Refreshed Navigation UX/UI and Branding

What’s new

Podium now features a collapsible side navigation panel, giving you more screen space to monitor your fleet. The platform has been updated with refreshed brand colours for a modern, cohesive look, and the sidebar includes access to other Polestar Global products.

Vessel Label Improvements

What’s new

Vessel labels now display essential information always – name, speed and course – with additional data shown on hover. This streamlined approach reduces map clutter and helps you quickly identify specific vessels across your entire fleet.

  • Access detailed data only when you need it

Berth Call Events

What’s new

Berth arrival and departure events have been added to our Voyage Insights data. Our new Port Call API now provides customers with these new events.

The berth event history is available for the last 2 years, as well as being continuously updated.

VMS Fleet Management – Lifecycle Management

What’s new

VMS Fleet Management now supports vessel deregistration and archiving.
Deregistered vessels are moved to an Archived Ships view, allowing users to switch between active and archived fleets via the left-hand panel.

This update provides clearer control over vessel status while retaining access to historical records.

Why it matters

  • Enables clear separation of active and inactive VMS vessels
  • Preserves vessel history for audit and operational reference
  • Strengthens lifecycle management within the existing VMS Fleet Management experience

LRIT Fleet Management

Extended Comment Field

What’s new

The Comment field limit has been increased from 256 to 1,024 characters, supporting longer vessel change logs in Register Vessel and Edit Details.

  • Preserves full history of vessel updates
  • Reduces manual workarounds for note keeping
