Dual Use Goods Screening – Enhancements
What’s new:
This month, we’ve continued to improve our Dual-Use Goods Screening feature making it more powerful, efficient, and aligned with your operational workflows:
- Performance & usability improvements: Core performance enhancements to make Dual-Use Goods Screening results faster and easier to work with.
- Configurable, targeted screening: Greater configurability and filtering options, so you can tailor your Dual-Use Goods checks.
- New Regulation Lists filter: A dedicated Regulation Lists filter that will allow you to refine results based on your chosen regulatory frameworks, helping you to focus on the lists that matter most to your business.

Why it matters:
- Seamless, no tool-switching workflow:
- Dual-Use Goods screening will continue to run alongside your Bill of Lading, Container, and vessel screening checks so you can manage all these controls in one place without switching tools.
Introducing Product Fruits on PurpleTRAC
What’s new:
- In-app guidance and communication hub: We’ve integrated Product Fruits into PurpleTRAC to bring help, announcements, and key information directly into the platform. Rather than searching across emails, separate documents, or external portals, users can now access support resources and stay informed about the system without leaving their workflow.
Home tab
- Displays important PurpleTRAC information in one convenient place.
- Provides quick access to the user guide for step-by-step help with platform features.
- Lists contact support details and the maintenance windows schedule, giving advance visibility of planned maintenance so users can plan their work accordingly.
News tab
- Displays the latest PurpleTRAC announcements, keeping users up to date with product updates, new features, and important notices.
- Highlights unread items with a visual indicator so new announcements are easy to spot and includes a “Mark all as read” option to clear unread indicators in a single action, helping users keep their notifications tidy.

Why it matters:
- It centralises the resources users need most – guidance, support contacts, operational notices, and product news into a single, always-accessible location within the application.
- Improves in-app communication, visibility of updates and overall improved user experience within PurpleTRAC
Feature Spotlight: Blacklisted Ports Since Date

Why it matters:
- Port risk is time-sensitive. A blacklisted port call from three years ago tells a different story to one made last month, after a conflict began or a designation changed.
- This filter lets you set a reference date so only relevant transits appear in your screening results. No noise. No manual filtering. Just a clear answer for the period that matters.
- To enable this feature, contact your Customer Success Manager or reach out to our Support team with the country/ports and your desired since date.

Meridia
Berth Analytics — Port Berth Intelligence
What’s new:
Meridia’s new Berths tab gives maritime professionals a single, port-mapped view of berth activity, making it easier to access end-to-end berth intelligence in one place.
The new view brings together several key data points:
- KPI cards showing the total number of berths, active terminal operators, and dwell time statistics across the port.
- Detailed berth table, grouped by terminal operator, so users can review each berth profile and drill down into berth-level dwell time analysis.
- Vessel occupancy graph and top port visitors panel to highlight traffic intensity and calling patterns at the port.
Together, these components provide a clearer, more structured view of port activity and berth utilisation.
Why it matters:
For port authorities, terminal operators, and shipping teams, understanding berth performance is essential for planning, negotiation, and day-to-day operations.
The Berths tab makes that easier by bringing critical berth intelligence into one structured view. Teams can now:
- See who operates each berth and how berth activity is distributed across the port
- Compare dwell times across terminals to spot operational trends
- Track occupancy patterns over time and spot changes in port usage
- Identify the vessels calling most frequently, without manually combining data from multiple sources
The result is faster decision-making, stronger port intelligence, and a clearer competitive view for teams operating in complex port environments.
