Podium (Shipping & Offshore)

AMVER Capabilities in Podium

What’s New: AMVER is now fully operational for all Podium customers.

Why It Matters: You now have complete access to AMVER capabilities within Podium, enabling stronger compliance, reporting, and visibility in line with international safety and security standards.

Homepage Option

What’s New: Users can now set their preferred homepage on to the Fleet Page (default) or any custom custom View

Why It Matters: Start every session exactly where you need to work. Save time and cut down on clicks by setting your Fleet page or preferred view as your homepage.

Vessel Rules – Multiple Geozone selection

What’s New: Users can now select multiple geozones when creating vessel rules with geo zone conditions.

Why It Matters: You can now cover more complex operational or compliance scenarios in a single rule, reducing the need to duplicate configurations.

Geozone Exit Event Generation

What’s New: New functionality to generate an event when a vessel exits a geozone.

Why It Matters: This feature helps you gain better control and visibility over vessel movements, ensuring timely action when vessels leave defined zones.

PurpleTRAC (Maritime Risk & Compliance)

Reference

What’s new: Following the recent addition of the Reference field in the Screening workflow,  the ‘Reference’ field is now available on the downloadable csv file from the Screen management report.

Why it Matters: You can now have additional traceability of transactions in your vessel screening management reports. This allows easier identification of the transaction.

API & Platform Enhancements

New Voyage Events in Vessel Notifications API

What’s new: The following new vessel voyage event types are available to subscribe to as part of the Vessel Notification Subscriptions:

  • Draught Changes
  • AIS Destination Changes
  • AIS ETA Changes
  • MMSI Number Changes
  • Navigational Status Changes

These events use the same notification framework as the existing vessel notification events, and can be received via email and webhook.

Why it Matters: Users can do more granular vessel tracking, by way of receiving vessel notifications.

Position in Zones and Ports endpoint

What’s new: A new API endpoint which returns a list of zones and/or ports which the provided lat/long coordinate is in.

Why it Matters: This new utility endpoint lets users or systems quickly check if a position related to any event is situated in a zone or port of interest.

What We’re Working on Now

PurpleTRAC (Maritime Risk & Compliance)

  • Ship Status Screening: Include ship status in vessel screening results to alert if the vessel has an inactive ship status
  • P&I Club Screening Enhancements: Display the name of the P&I club in vessel screening results and also generate an alert for unknown P&I Clubs
  • Customizable Ship Movement History (SMH) periods: Customizable SMH lookback periods for specified blacklisted ports.
  • Customizable Unknown Severity alerts for Company associations: Customizable severity that is triggered if the country of Registration, Domicile or Control is unknown for specified company associations.
